Today on 22 NOVEMBER 2021, Amrinder Singh Raja Warring who is the Transport Minister of Punjab made his presence at PRTC Headquarters to attend the taking over ceremony of new Chairman of PRTC Satvinder Singh Warraich and there he said ” Captain Amrinder Singh had enjoyed a lot as Former Chief minister and should not think or give up the idea of fighting elections more, Captain would lose his security deposit even from his hometown. This statement came in reference when a few times back Captain Amarinder Singh has announced to contest the upcoming Punjab Elections from his hometown – Patiala.

Raja Warring’s Statement

Warring added to his statement “Nazaare Laye ne Captain Saab ne 9.5 saal ch” which means Captain Amrinder Singh has enjoyed a lot as Chief Minister in his total term of 9.5 years and if he will fight again he will meet the same results when he formed his own party last time.

Transport Minister also blamed Captain for not giving him the chance to work by not adding him to the minister’s list. He said that he has been waiting for almost four and half years to work but Captain had not allowed him to work. If the captain had given him the chance then in return he had generated a lot of revenue for Punjab.

Raja Warring also compared the former Chief Minister – Captain Amrinder Singh with New Chief Minister – Charanjit Singh Channi by saying “Captain Does not wake up and Channi does not sleep” as it means that “Captain Amrinder Singh was not working up to mark whereas Channi is working very hard and with a lot of dedication for people day and night and he is performing his works si well that he has touched the core of hearts of people with his hard work”.You can see the whole interview clip at the end of the article.

You might know that it’s been almost seven days since 42 of 60 Municipal Councillors of Patiala MC sent a petition to him stating their no-confidence. Mayor Sanjeev Bittu has decided to hold a General House Meeting on 25th November to prove his Preponderance.
The requisition which was sent on 18th November states ” All house members have lost faith in you. Then it would be appropriate for you to resign from your position or call a House meeting and prove your majority confidence according to law. As per law if 40 MCs show no confidence in him then-mayor can be removed.

Patiala is 58th cleanest City in India | the Cleanest City of State – Punjab

If we go through the rankings of Swach Sarvekshan 2021 then we can clearly see that Patiala has secured the first rank in the state and if we continue the list then SAS Nagar (Mohali) has bagged the second position. All over the country, Patiala is the 58th cleanest city. Patiala is a city that is blessed by its traditional structure which includes a lot of Monumental and Historical Buildings like Quila Mubarak, Mai Ji Di Sarai, Ghalori Gate ( Know known as C.I.A. Staff), Shahi Samadhan and many more. The impact of these buildings and the built structure of the city has a direct relation with its cleanliness and neatness.

Patiala’s Previous years Ranking in terms of Cleanliness

In 2020 Patiala has grabbed the 86th Position all across the country and In 2017 the City was on 411th all across the country in terms of cleanliness.
Before 2017 The old Patiala used to have Small Drains within the streets which were the main cause of Diseases and gave a dirty and unclean look to the city,  No doubt Municipal Corporation, Mayor Sanjeev Sharma and Commissioner Poonamdeep Kaur have worked very hard to bring Patiala into a very improved condition. Now, most of the drains have been closed and underground pipes have been installed which is a better solution.

Sanjeev Sharma who is the mayor of the city congratulated the citizens of Patiala and said that this was the result of the contribution of Residents of Patiala and became possible only because of hard works and efficient working of Patiala Municipal Corporation Workers. Mayor added to his statement ” We are improving in terms of ranking every year. From 411 in the year of 2017 now we are standing at 58th in the country and first position in Punjab. It is a collective effort of each and every worker of Municipal Corporation. Besides, Councillors played a very crucial; role by awaring people of their respective wards.

Sanjeev Sharma said ” 106 semi underground bins at various 37 places in Patiala had been pitted in addition to six material recovery facility centres were built. MC has already completed the construction of four hundred and fifty – 450 Composting pits across the city.

So if you do not know the reason behind closing of corridor it was the one and only COVID-19 because Pakistan put restrictions on travellers from INDIA. 2 Days back when Government of India announced that Corridor has been reopened but pilgrims have to travel with following some guidelines. As in one of the guidelines provided by Pakistan Goverment travellers should be carrying a negative RTPCR report which shouldn’t be older then seventy two – 72 Hours. Pakistan officials may also perform a rapid antigen test to tourists when they enter Pakistan.

If you are active in Punjab Politics then you might know what is happening in Punjab. If you are not so much active then this blog is for you. As we know in 2017 when Captain formed his government he appointed his close KK Sharma as Chairman of PRTC and 2 months back when Captain has resigned from the position of Chief Minister of Punjab and Charanjeet Singh Channi was appointed as Chief Minister of Punjab in September 2021.

REMOVAL OF CAPTAIN’S LOYALIST LEADERS

Since then New chief minister has changed the cabinet and appointed his new ministers but after listening to many rumours revolving around the removal of the Mayor of Patiala and Chairman of PRTC. The chairman one came to true and we can expect the removal of Mayor too because Today (18 November 2021) Cabinet Minister Brahm Mohindra has invited all the municipal counsellors of Patiala to Chandigarh office. Sharma has been removed from the position of Chairman of PRTC after his photo with former CM Captain Amrinder Singh and Captain’s wife MP Preneet Kaur went viral over social media.

It may be recalled that Sharma is close to Preneet Kaur and he had joined MP Preneet Kaur and several other congress councillors of Patiala with the Local congress leadership of Captain Amarinder Singh at his Siswan Farmhouse. 

Earlier when Transport Minister Raja Warring had reached Patiala Bus Stand for checking, Sharma had not reached to meet him. When Raja Warring was questioned about the same he sharply replied ” Who is KK Sharma”?

KK SHARMA’S WORD ON HIS REMOVAL


On a statement from KK Sharma on this, he said that ” He is not at all upset, He continued his statement that ” I am staunch loyalist of Capt Amrinder Singh who made me chairman of Patiala Improvement Trust in the year of 2003. Nowadays, instead of giving a stable government, Congressmen are being removed from important and crucial posts without any consideration. I have been removed just because I am a close person to the previous CM – Captain Amrinder Singh.

KK SHARMA has given a hint of quitting Congress after being removed from the Chairmanship of PRTC. Although a final decision is yet to be taken, He continued his statement that He is with the city’s leading leader Captain Amarinder Singh and in reaction to the departure of Chairmanship 

he said that Loyalty is more important to him and not a post, He continued his statement that He was, is and will be with Captain Amarinder Singh. He also said that at present Congress Party has three to four different groups and he cannot work under the leadership of Navjot Singh Sidhu. He told Jagran NewsDaily that Future Strategy will be worked out and made in public soon in presence of other congress leaders in the city.

INTRODUCTION 

Welcome to the fresh article and if you don’t know then let me tell you that our Government has opened the corridor is going to be reopened by tomorrow ( 17 – NOVEMBER – 2021) and it will be going to benefit a large number of Sikh pilgrims. 

Kartarpur corridor is a 4.4Kms stretch road to Darbar Sahib situated in Pakistan and the same is going to be reopened by tomorrow which means two days before the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

Home Minister on Reopening of Corridor

Amit Shah (Union Home Minister) said that this will benefit a large number of Sikh pilgrims. The centre had blamed Pakistan for not opening the corridor which has been shut down for more than 12 months.

Punjab Leaders Request for Reopening of Kartarpur Corridor

Most of the prominent leaders in Punjab including our Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, Former Chief Minister Amarinder Singh and PPCC Navjot Singh Sidhu had requested the Central Government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to open the Kartarpur Corridor before the Gurpurab. Why Kartarpur Corridor was Shut Down in 2020?

The Kartarpur Corridor movement was suspended in March 2020 when due to the COVID outbreak Pakistan put restrictions on travel from India.

SIDHU JOINING INDIAN NATIONAL CONGRESS

He joined Indian National Congress in 2017 January and won the 2017 assembly elections from Amritsar and became Minister of Local Bodies. When the reshuffling of Captain Amrinder Singh’s Cabinet took place then he was given the Ministry of Power and New and Renewable Energy Resources. Navjot tweeted his resignation from the Cabinet of Punjab Government on 10 June 2019 and addressed the same to Rahul Gandhi.

NAVJOT SINGH SIDHU BECAME PRESIDENT OF CONGRESS COMMITTEE

Congress President Smt. Sonia Gandhi appointed Sidhu as the president of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee. On the date of 28 September 2021, He resigned as chief of the PPCC but the High Command of the party rejected his resignation. He took back his resign on 5 Nov 2021 as Punjab Congress chief.
